Rights & Advocacy

In compliance with the Michigan Mental Health Code, the Office of Recipient Rights (ORR) advocates for people who receive mental health services and for applicants, by offering recipient rights protection.

Vicki Suder, Director of Rights & Advocacy

Vicki began her career with OCHN as a clerk in child/adolescent day treatment services in 1989. Since then, she has advanced her career, holding various positions within the organization. In addition to overseeing Rights and Customer Services, Vicki is responsible for the support and empowerment of people served, including leading the strategic planning workgroup and the network's anti-stigma effort.
